NGen (Next Generation) is MBOT’s brand of networking and education series for young professionals aged 40 and younger.  NGen’s mission is to:

–    Engage Professionals
–    Develop Connections
–    Create Opportunities

The latest NGen event, held on April 9th at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, was another success with over 70 NGeners in attendance.   Don’t take my word for it; check out the pictures and video below from the event.

The NGen committee members encouraged attendees to show their creative side by adding to the “Things That Inspire” canvas with words, drawings, and inspirational quotes using markers, feathers, ribbons and other fun crafts.

Some of the quotes included:

“Excellence is Habit” – Aristotle
“If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life”
“Travel Expands the Mind”
“Have the Courage to be Happy” – Augusto Boal
“Sunshine and Food”

And my personal favourite: “Love”

The next NGen event is going to be even better!   Check your schedule and come out on June 25th from 5 to 7 pm to the picturesque Glenerin Inn & The Spa.   For more info and to register, click here.   Come and join your fellow young professionals for an evening of live entertainment, refreshments, and great networking opportunities.

NGen events are great for networking newbies and seasoned pros alike.  If you are new to networking and are worried about what to expect, the NGen committee is here to help.  We will meet you at the event and show you the ropes.

The 2015 Series is sponsored by MNP LLP.
