It is Small Business Week in Canada and we are all celebrating those hard working women and men that drive our economy every day. Small business week was created by the Business Development Bank of Canada back in 1979 when it was known as the Federal Business Development Bank. Each year we take a week in October to celebrate entrepreneurs in the small biz sector. To help us celebrate this week is Donna Heslin. Donna is the lead for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the City of Mississauga. Donna has been involved in innovation since 2015 when she founded iCube at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Along with a plethora of degrees, Donna is a PhD candidate in Entrepreneurship in Higher Education at U of T.
