Working remotely can mean a number of different things. It can mean your home base is your personal residence, but you go to client’s offices, have meet ups in coffee shops, entertain clients over lunch. That is not the case at the moment and the current way of doing things in business may be the next normal. How can front line managers and executives help their teams cope through this stress time. To help us understand what we can do for our teams, we have with us Dr. Noah Lazar. Dr. Lazar is a Clinical Director and Founder of The Downtown Psychology Clinic in Toronto, and a professor at the University of Toronto. He is certified by the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and treats a wide range of difficulties related to mood, anxiety and work stress. Dr. Lazar is also part of the Bell Let’s Talk team of subject matter experts, providing information on how to recognize and help people within organizations struggling with mental health issues. It’s worth noting that Bell Let’s Talk recently announced new funding of $5 million for 5 organizations delivering mental health support to youth, family and communities during the COVID-19 crisis.
