COVID information has come at us a lightening speed at times with rapid changes and complicated regulations. One area that has had a great impact on employers and employees are the changes to the Employment Standards ACT, otherwise known as the ESA. ESA is under the purview of the Provincial government and when the Premier enacted Emergency Measures, ESA was affected on a temporary basis.
