On June 4th, 2020, MBOT hosted a Virtual Consultation with Hon. Mona Fortier, Minister of Middle Class Prosperity and Associate Minister of Finance.
The consultation focused on feedback around the federal government’s emergency support programs broadly, and specifically the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS).
The goal for the discussion is to listen to Mississauga stakeholders to gain insight into how the Government of Canada’s emergency response measures and the CEWS are working, and any recommendations they have for CEWS moving forward.
