Mississauga Board of Trade Congratulates Re-elected Liberal Government and Local MPs

October 22, 2019                                                                                                   For Immediate Release

Mississauga, Ontario  —  David Wojcik, President & CEO, Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT) offered his congratulations on the re-election of the Trudeau Liberal Government and the six Mississauga Members of Parliament.

“Since we have a very good relationship with our six local Members of Parliament, their re-election will ensure continued strong lines of open communication going forward,” Mr. Wojcik said.  “The re-election of the Trudeau Government provides continuity on issues of concern to business.”

During the federal election, MBOT strongly promoted the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vote Prosperity platform which spelled out issues of importance to the business community that the Federal Government needs to address.  More information is at www.platformforprosperity.com.

“We intend to hold the Government’s feet to the fire on these issues.  Our local MPs are an important voice for the business sector in the House of Commons.  We look forward to working with them in the 43rd Parliament of Canada,” Mr. Wojcik concluded.

Congratulations again to the Mississauga Members of Parliament
