Dr. Lawrence Loh – Preparing For The Post COVID Return To Work – PODCAST
The COVID pandemic has closed thousands of businesses since the emergency orders were declared by the Premier of Ontario. Some partially closed. Some completely closed and some businesses were kept open as essential services. Restaurants were allowed to offer take out and delivery services and recently retailers were allowed to offer curbside pick up. New cases in the province are demonstrably on the decline and in Peel it is a mere trickle of new cases being confirmed. We are now in the post emergency days. Businesses, customers and employees are poised like sprinters at a start line, ready to sprint back to work, shop and socialize. How do we prepare our businesses and workplaces for the returning surge of people? To help us with the discussion is Dr. Lawrence Loh. Dr. Loh is the Interim Medical Officer of Health at the Region of Peel. Dr. Loh is also an Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. He is board certified in family medicine and Public Health in Canada as well as Public Health and Preventive Medicine in both Canada and the United States.
