MISSISSAUGA BOARD OF TRADE APPLAUDS FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR TRILLIUM HEALTH PARTNERS
(Mississauga, ON – December 1, 2021) – The Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT) applauds today’s announcement by the Government of Ontario on its multi-million dollar investment in health care capital funding for Mississauga-based Trillium Health Care Partners.
“This is a very welcome investment to support the long-term health care needs of residents in Mississauga, Peel Region and Etobicoke. We have long advocated that a strong local health care system is essential for businesses and their employees, as well as for making the case in attracting new business investment to our community,” said MBOT President and CEO, Trevor McPherson.
“Trillium Health Care Partners have been long-standing members of MBOT. They also recognize the relationship between a high-quality health care network and business and economic growth,” said Mr. McPherson. “With the capital build and renovations, these critical infrastructure investments will generate hundreds of local jobs for many years to come.”
