Mississauga, ON – The Mississauga Board of Trade is pleased to have received strong support from chambers of commerce across Ontario for the policy resolutions we submitted at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) Annual General Meeting (AGM). These resolutions were presented and approved at the AGM and are now included in the OCC’s 2025–2028 Policy Compendium. Mississauga Board of Trade led resolutions include:

  • Growing Airports & Building More Housing

  • Improving Skilled Trades in Secondary Schools

  • Positioning Ontario for Life Sciences Success in the 2020s and Beyond

  • Ontario’s Life Sciences Industry: Unlocking the Health Innovation Pathway

  • Establishing a Business Energy Audit Program

The Chamber was also proud to serve as a co-sponsor of an additional resolution brought forward by our chamber network partners:

  • Regional Transportation Fare Integration

The OCC continues to advocate for these policy recommendations on behalf of the chamber network through regular engagement with government officials and staff, media outreach, and the development of policy primers and reports.
